SPACE is a newly-funded Erasmus+ project in 5 countries: Belgium (coordinator), Portugal, Norway, Ireland, Holland. By creating an innovation-based “student-enterprise”, the partners will train pre-service teachers in the Write A Science Opera (WASO) method by receiving inspiration from the European Space Agency’s Technology Center (ESTEC). The pre-service teachers will be trained during practicum in their regional schools, and during week-long “Intensive Programmes” (IP) in Portugal, Belgium and Norway. In this project, Stord Haugesund University College is responsible for the Pedagogical Framework, Norwegian practicum, and participation in international student exchanges during IP’s. Students will use the newly-developed “WASO App” created by European Project Semester students in Antwerp.
The other partners in this 3-year initiative:
AP Univ. College (Belgium, Coordinator)
The European Network for Opera and Dance Education, RESEO (Belgium and European-wide) Dundalk Institute of Technology (Ireland) Speel je Wijs (Holland) CMSM (Portugal)
